A note will go home Wednesday discussing the food group we learned about, the recipes on the back are usually pretty good!

Attitude is our Character Ed word of the month. We've been discussing what it means to have a good attitude, please continue having these conversations with your child at home. This is goes right along with our character traits we are learning about in reading. Each character in a story has a personality or character trait. We are using their actions, thoughts and feelings from the story to decide what kind of character they have. When reading at home discuss what kind of "character/personality" the characters have.
Math we are collecting data, organizing data and making graphs.
Writing we are starting our new persuasive/opinion unit.
Social Studies we will begin learning about the continents and oceans.
